Various types of processes and materials are employed to repair stone, paver, grout, and concrete counters, showers, driveways.  Regardless of the material and severity of the damage, repairs can be very durable and substantial improve the appearance of the affected area.

<p>Water migration and absorption, and mineralization in and around joints, will cause numerous issues. First, the area needs to stay dry for two days. Second, repairs were required involving complete replacement of the caulking at the counter/sink joint and grout at the counter/splash joint; and finally, the removal of the mineralization.</p>
<p>The tiles on the vertical face of this deck were removed, fabricated (cut and bullnosed) and re-attached with thin-set. After curing, the grout was floated into the joints.</p>
<p>Off-colored factory fills (or post-installation) can be replaced with a color better blended with the stone’s color. After the repair cures, additional detailing is performed to ensure that the finish blends withe surrounding stone.</p>
<p>Even more significant holes or cracks in high visibility areas can be repaired with the necessary color blended epoxy and then fabricated to ensure the best appearance and most durable repair possible.</p>
<p>Deteriorated and missing caulking are removed and replaced with water and mildew-resistant caulking.</p>
<p>In Southern California, movement is a real issue that must be addressed with the most effective processes and products available. Epoxy injection helps to minimize future movement through re-securing tiles to the substrate. Finally, the grout is replaced in the same joints.</p>
<p>With proper epoxy and marble chip mixing, even twenty-year old commercial applications can be repaired and then blended through other processess.</p>
<p>This shower floor and threshold were treated through aggressive stripping, refinishing and polishing. This restoration process left the stone much smoother, lighter and brighter. The same process removed the majority of soap residue, staining, and mineral build-up.</p>
<p>Even the most difficult situations can be repaired. Significant improvements can be expected with the proper products and processes. Once repaired, the same step passed various tests for strucutual integrity.</p>
