<p>Originally, the fireplace did not exhibit the desired design characteristics. Staining was employed to create a stone-like appearance and finish. This is a durable and permanent process that requires little future maintenance.</p>

<p>After deep-cleaning and light acid-washing, a semi-glossy, penetrating sealer is applied. This sealer enriches the natural colors while providing added protection against the environment.</p>
