<p>A new installation in which construction debris, grout haze, and trade residue were removed revealing the stone’s natural colors. Later, the stone is sealed with a penetrating, matte sealer that helps slow the effects of the elements while maintaining the stone’s presentation.</p>
<p>The newly installed limestone was cleaned and sealed removing construction debris, grout haze, and trade residue. Both surfaces were sealed with a penetrating, non-enhancing sealer. Note the slight reflection that was created during processing at the plant. No polishes were applied to this stone.</p>
<p>The concrete lost much of its color and ability to repel oils. After stripping the previous coating, the concrete was re-stained and sealed. Special materials are added to the sealer that not only help to protect the concrete’s color and finish, but also improve slip resistance.</p>
<p>The polished marble in this home is treated every 18 - 24 months in order to remove the scratches and dullness that accumulate over time. Refinishing with diamond abrasives and traditional polishing powders restored the stone’s natural beauty and finish.</p>
